. . . what I hear?
Not only do I love this Christmas song, but it is what my title is all about. I find Latin fascinating, and began researching that with a few online helps last year, and “Deus audiam” means “I shall hear God.”
If you ever hear that still, small voice, perhaps God lays on your heart a friend. I must say, time and again, when that has happened, I have ignored it, only to find out later, that was a crucial time for my friend. Not always with something “bad” happening, it’s just God’s timing should not have been ignored.
Or, when I am driving down the road, and I have two options, another example. I hear that still, small voice, and have ignored it, with consequences to my ignorance. Like, a longer wait in traffic. Or, when I’ve listened, I’ve avoided a wreck, even.
You know, it’s not always significant. But, if I’m not listening on the little things, why would he bother to share anything big with me. . .
